There have already been complaints to PEMRA (Pakistan’s media regulatory authority) over content in Lazawaal Ishq.
PEMRA responded by saying the show is out of its jurisdiction because it’s not airing on licensed TV channels; it’s on digital/social platforms.
Cultural Sensitivities:
Since Pakistan has conservative norms around gender interaction, romance and public display of affection, there’s concern about how far such shows can go without offending social norms.
The show tries to balance being dramatic and romantic while being respectful of cultural boundaries.
