Prayer (Salah/Namaz) is the second pillar of Islam and a direct way to connect with Allah ﷻ. Every Muslim is required to perform five daily prayers at their prescribed times. This guide will explain step by step how to perform Salah correctly, making it easy for beginners, children, and even reverts to understand.—

🌙 Importance of SalahSalah is not just a ritual, it is a conversation between a servant and his Creator. It purifies the heart, brings peace to the soul, and keeps a believer away from sins. Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:> “Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing.” (Qur’an 29:45)

🕌 Steps to Perform Salah1. Intention (Niyyah)Before starting the prayer, make an intention in your heart about which prayer you are offering (e.g., Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, or Isha).Example: “I intend to pray two Rak‘ah Fard of Fajr for Allah.”No need to say it loudly — intention is made in the heart.—

6. Standing After Bowing (I‘tidāl)Rise up and say: “Sami‘allāhu liman ḥamidah” (Allah hears the one who praises Him). While standing upright, say: “Rabbanā wa lakal-ḥamd” (Our Lord, to You is all praise).—
